You painted a beautiful picture of Hull and its people and of the remarkable relationship between Eugene and the person whose name we never learn. A name best left unspoken, for the emotions you invoke are name enough. Well done....

I enjoyed this engaging story. The writer approaches the subjects with delicacy and passion. Haunting and affecting.
