It's an unassuming piece of writing and despite the fact that it's written on one level of understanding only, this neat "memory" poem grows on you the more times you read it. I prefer poetry to resonate with other elements of understanding rather than a straightforward story written as poetry and so for that reason I'm giving "Water" three stars.
