Rational or no, life is full of such experiences. Hemingway didn't like the name Ernest either. But it works here to establish that this is a common, socially awkward man....

I like it. Sweet and so aptly describes those rare moments in our lives when something unusual crosses our paths and we are faced with a choice. He could have leapt over the counter... but, alas, life is not a movie.
