Rational or no, life is full of such experiences. Hemingway didn't like the name Ernest either. But it works here to establish that this is a common, socially awkward man....

I loved the title--could see the scene in a movie--ahh, but life is not one--too bad, then we could rewind and change things and fast forward and skip the bad parts.
