ouch! and to use the bard for an epigraph? or, more pointedly, where's the rest of the story? moreover, postmodern aside, what's iwo jima got to do with it? the movie, the icon, the story or the reality or a tiny, obscure pacific island? bedspread as a cover for, or that which offers a visual signifier to the bed, or however would one find a connection. or are you just putting us on, a somewhat cynical joke on wanna-be writers and short stories? hardly worth these words, or finding constructive suggestions as critique on your experiment.
