Notes on the Existence of Justin

The Complete Second Season

Disclosure: To those reading this story, it is a continuation of a story I wrote in class (This is what happens when I get bored), for those who feel that need to read the first of the story, it is the "first season" of this story. Just search it on writerspub.com. This story's original intention was to bring a smile to my friend's face (Justin). So sit back and enjoy (Hopefully you will enjoy)! And don't expect to much. :)

14 years later………..

Three Land Rovers hurtled over the dirt road in the lonely Uintahs.  It was sunset, and the sun’s red rays shown through the canyons as if the sun had arms, and as if it was it was wrapping its arms around the mountains.

“Wow, this is amazing Bently.” Nicole said while she leaned on Bently’s seat.

“I know, it’s very beautiful.  I come here once a month, just to soak in the intensity of its greatness.”

“Justin, that red hair is just fantastic!” Lindsie said in awe.  Justin turned to look at her and then he looked at Bently.

“I think my woman is becoming obsessed with your hair Justin.  C’mon, you already have one girl, you don’t need to steal mine.”

“How did Lindsie get behind me?”

“I have no idea,” Bently said and then turned to Lindsie, raising his eyebrow, “Lindsie, do you have something for Justin?  You wouldn’t want him anyway, he has been switching between women for the past couple of years while dating Nicole.”

“Justin?!” Nicole exclaimed in a joking way.

“Hey!  I did not, you liar!”  Justin said.  Nicole leaned over and kissed him on the cheek.

“It’s fine Justin, you’ll just be sleeping outside for the week while I’m in the nice cabin.”

“Ouch!  Lindsie said.  While Justin was laughing he noticed Bently and Nicole staring at each other for a split second.

“Busted!”  Bently said to Justin with a playful shove.

“Justin, are you all right in there?”  Bently questioned with a smile.  Justin’s mind was still focused on that one look it was stuck in his mind. “I think he is till processing something is there.”

“Processing?  Bently, you know he can’t process.” Nicole said in a pretend sad voice.  Justin’s mind then clicked back into reality.

“Uh, I can’t believe you guys are picking on me, I mean, what did I ever do to you?” Bently, Nicole and Lindsie looked at each other and said in unison:

“Are you seriously asking that question?” They said with their eyebrows raised.

“Fine!...  But what about Bently?  He’s not even close to being innocent!”

“Bently is a great guy.  We all owe him from the favors he has done for us over the years.  I probably owe him the most from the stuff he has done for me.” Lindsie stated.

“I would have to agree.”  Nicole said grinning.

“Ah, look, we’re here!  No more torture!”  Justin sad as Bently pulled up to the top of the mountain and into the driveway for the cabin.  As they got out of the car, the two other Land Rovers pulled up beside.

“This is as pretty as you said it was.” Lindsie said as she wrapped her arms around Bently.

“Yes, but it isn’t as pretty as a certain girlfriend of mine.”  Lindsie leaned in, and they kissed.

“Wow!  Cinnamon flavored!”  Bently exclaimed.  He leaned in and kissed her again.

“Sir, sorry to break up the party, but where do you want your bags?” A man said with three suitcases in his arms.

“In my room, oh, and put Justin’s in the guest room next to mine, Shawn,” Bently said with Lindsie’s arms sill wrapped around his neck.  Bently placed his hands on her waist.  “I have some things I need to arrange for tomorrow.  I’ll talk to you again in a while.” Bently looked up from Lindsie’s eyes, and walked over to Justin and Nicole, who were talking about the view.

“Hey, I have some things I have to arrange for tomorrow.  Feel free to roam around.  Nicole, you and Lindsie are going to have to share a bedroom.  Sorry, but the other rooms are getting all new furniture and granite countertops.  There is two queens, so sleeping arrangements won’t be a problem.”

“That’s fine, thanks Bent.” Nicole said with a smile.

“Good.  Oh, yes.  Watch out for those mice too, we’ve had quite a few of them.  One as big as a rat even crawled into my bed while I was sleeping.”  Bently smiled, and then walked away.

“Mice?”  Nicole question fearfully.

“He was kidding, Bently the multibillionaire genius wouldn’t let a fly into the house for more than ten-seconds.”  Justin grinned, and then put his arm around her.

“Hey Nicole!  I just went into the backyard, and there is some amazing tennis courts back there.”  Lindsie exclaimed.

“Really?  Lets go see them,” Nicole said with excitement, “tennis is calling, gotta go.”  Nicole gave Justin a short kiss on the lips, and then started talking to Lindsie.

Justin watched them walk into the back, and then he walked into the cabin.  As he opened the door a small fur-ball shot out, licked his hand, and then ran around the back.  He walked in, and shut the door behind him.  The cabin foyer was astounding, with a four-story ceiling, and hardwood floors laid in a huge sun and mountain design.  Justin took off his shoes and then turned a corner.  Bently was looking though massive windows at the mountains encased with a red glow, and the two girls on the tennis courts petting the furry dog.  Justin looked down on the tennis courts, and then on to Nicole.  She was so beautiful…  Her small, slender figure was crouched over, she was laughing.  Her smile, how he loved it.  Nicole’s smile was a special smile, unique to her only.  It had an engaging, alluring look to it unlike any smile Justin had ever encountered.  So gorgeous that body of hers, from her face to her slim figure to her-

“Hey, this is the good thoughts zone!  If you are going to think sick thoughts, go somewhere else.”  Bently said as Justin was snapping out his thoughts, “Yeah, you heard me.  Hey!  Don’t give me that look!  Trust me, I know that smile, and that smile signals that your thoughts are going to rear their ugly head.  If you’re going to think those thoughts, go do it in a closet somewhere, so I don’t have to see that smile.”

“I was not thinking sick thoughts, you’re the sick thoughts person!” Justin said while pointing at Bently.

“Tyson was the sick thoughts person, then Mauricio, and then finally you.”

“I am not the sick thoughts person!”

“Yeah, don’t try and back out of it now buddy boy!”

“I am not the sick thoughts perso-.”

“I beg to differ.”  Justin turned to the voice, but before he could respond, Nicole plunged into a full-blown kiss.  Her hands ruffled his red hair as she kissed him.  Nicole’s soft lips pressed against his.  There was an energy that flowed through them during this kiss that was amazing.  His arms wrapped around her, and they passionately kissed.

Nicole finished the kiss and looked Justin in the eyes.  Her brown eyes glistened as if they were diamonds placed by the big man himself up above.  Justin looked at her, and told himself that this was a woman that he didn’t deserve.  Her eyes were caught by Bently’s, and Justin saw a glimmer of something in Bently’s eyes.

“If you guys want to continue, I’m sure Bently has a camcorder.”  Lindsie said laughing.  Nicole and Justin laughed.  Nicole then swiftly turned to Lindsie.

“I just remembered, the thing I was going to tell you about was I bought some new pajamas!”

“I gotta go see them!”  Lindsie and Nicole ran down the hall, and some stairs into their bedroom.

Bently glanced at his watch, and then shook his head.

“5 o’clock...” Bently murmured as he walked to his bedroom, and Justin did the same.

The rest of the night went great, from Speed to 21 to Sequence, and the laughing didn’t end.  Bently and Lindsie were in the lead in Sequence.  Every time one of them went, they gave each other signals.  Every time Nicole or Justin would state that signaling was cheating.  Finally sequence came to an end.

“Victory!”  Bently and Lindsie yelled and then they high-fived each other.

“Yeah, yeah, yeah.”  Justin said annoyed.

“Oh, I’m tired.”  Nicole stated, and then rested her head on Lindsie’s shoulder

“Let’s go to bed.”  Lindsie and Nicole stood up from the table, and walked to their room.  Bently And Justin stared at them as they walked down the hall, and then down some stairs to their room.

“Wow!  Nicole has some fantastic legs, and wow do they look good in those soft-pink pajamas with hearts all of them.”

“Ah-ha!!!  You are the sick thinker!”  Justin said, pointing at Bently.

“You just keep telling yourself that, but you know the truth.”  There was silence for a second, and then Justin stated:

“Lindsie actually has a great upper-.”

“Stop!  No more, that’s too far you pervert!”

“What?  I was just going to say-.”

“No!  We’re done!  C’mon, lets go say good night.” Bently stood up, and walked in the girls direction, with Justin following.  When they arrived at the girl’s room, Nicole was sitting on the edge the bed waiting for Lindsie.

“Where’s Lindsie?”

“She’s putting some lotion on in the bathroom.”  Nicole said.  Bently walked into the bathroom, and Justin sat next to Nicole.

“I swear Bently, can’t I put some lotion on in peac-.”  Justin and Nicole heard a kissing sound.

“Watermelon!  Just as delicious!”  Justin and Nicole looked at each other and rolled their eyes.  A series of kissing sounds followed.  Then a clunk followed.

“Nice Bently, you just spilled the lotion.”

“Ah, who cares?  Plus I have to have another taste of that delicious watermelon.  I mean kiss.”  Another series of kissing sounds followed.

“Goodnight Lindsie.”

“Goodnight melon-head.”

“Hey!”  Another kiss followed, and then Bently walked out.  “That watermelon I would have to say was the best of the day!”  Bently said to Justin and Nicole as he walked out.  A couple sounds rang down the hall, including the sound of a fridge door opening.

“Goodnight Bently.”  Nicole said with a smile.

“Goochnigt Nicol.”  Was said with a chew of food here and there.  Justin made a pig noise and then a pig squeal.

“Heard that!”  Nicole turned to Justin.

“Does he ever stop munching on something?  He even had a bag of Chex-Mix and Cheetos in the Land Rover today.”

“Nope…  Goodnight Nicole.” Justin kissed her and then walked out.  Nicole watched him as he left the room.  She grinned when she spotted him wearing airplane pajamas.  Lindsie walked out brushing her teeth.

“Trying to get that funky watermelon taste out?” Lindsie nodded.

“The airplane pajamas on those legs again?” Nicole nodded and smiled.

Justin walked up the stairs to Bently’s room, where Bently was standing in front of an 8-foot large computer screen.

“Oh, great, what toy did you get now?”  Justin said staring at the massive screen.  Bently motioned some gestures in the air, and the computer responded, pulling up flight plans and business items.

“Whaahaahaa.”  Bently grinned.  “I got the first prototype of the new Apple iMac.  Justin rolled his eyes and then sat on Bently’s bed.  As soon as he sat on the bed, a Coke popped up out of the stand sitting next to Bently’s bed.

“I swear, you and your toys.”  Justin grabbed the Coke.  “What you working on?”

“Just a couple of business items for the British Government.”  Justin choked on his Coke.  Bently turned to Justin who was coughing and pounding his chest.  “You can’t even drink a Coke without hurting yourself, this is how sad you are.”  Bently shook his head and turned back to the computer screen.  After Justin had coughed his last cough and died, he scooted up on Bently’s bed and laid down on it.  The bed began vibrating, and Justin rolled his eyes before closing them.

“Ahahahahahahahah.”  Justin said in a vibrated voice.  He then proceeded to say in a deep vibrated voice: “Luke, I am your father.”  Justin smiled and laid there on the bed while Bently worked on the computer.  He slowly drifted away…

Justin woke up to a growling and a gorilla mask staring at him.

“Holy-!” Justin jumped up, and saw Bently laughing at him from inside a mask.

“Go sleep in your own bed!” The gorilla said, pointing in the direction of Justin’s room.

“Fine.”  Justin said sleepily.  Justin went to his own room and crawled in his bed.  As he was positioning himself in the covers, his feet came upon a hairy stump.

“What the heck!?”  Justin jumped out of the bed and yanked the covers off.  A purple-haired toy troll doll sat there smiling at him.

“Oh those gosh dang trolls, they get everywhere.”  Bently said as he walked into the room and picked up the troll.  Justin gave him a dirty look as he left the room.

“Goodnight Justina.  Don’t let the little trolls bite.”  Bently said chuckling.

“Yeah, yeah, yeah.”

Justin woke up the next morning to the aroma of pumpkin donuts and pumpkin French-Toast.  He got up and walked into the kitchen.  Nicole and Lindsie were sitting on the island talking and watching Bently cook.

“Hey, there’s my sleepy head.”  Nicole said laughing.  He sat down beside her, and she gave him good morning kiss.

“These guys are nuts!  I went this morning to go on a run at 5:30, and these guys were playing tennis.”  Nicole and Lindsie smiled.

“You’re all crazy for being up so early.”  Justin grumbled.  Bently flipped the French-Toast in air with the pan, then caught it with the pan.

“24th flip!  Ha, ha, I called it!”  Nicole yelled over the sizzling of the food.

“Dang it.”  Lindsie said as she hit the island with her fist.

“It’s ready!” Bently carried the hot food over to the island.  The girls lunged for the donuts and starting chowing them down.  After breakfast was hoovered up the women, they all went into their bedrooms and got ready.

Bently and Justin were staring out the windows when the girls walked out.  Nicole gave Justin a quick kiss.  Lindsie came up to Bently and wrapped her arms around him and deeply kissed him.

“Pumpkin!  Somebody didn’t brush their teeth!”

“I did too!  Gosh dang donuts.”

“It’s good, especially since now I have a pumpkin taste in my mouth.”  There was silence for a second, and then Bently continued, “We all need to go on a ride, so lets get in the car.”

“Where are we going?”  Justin questioned.

“You’ll see” Bently responded.  The drive lasted two hours and during the whole drive, everybody was pretty quiet.  Justin stared at the emerald green trees passing, and passing, and passing.  The image of time passing entered into Justin’s mind.  He slowly drifted off into sleep.  His mind was a jumble, and thus the thoughts and dreams entering his mind were jumbled.  Except for one.

A figure appeared in the distance of a desert.  Justin fumbled in on the dry sand or the Gobi desert.  The figure was blurred because of the heat waves off the ground, and Justin began believing that it was a mirage, and that it was nothing else.  But it came closer.  Justin fell to the ground coughing.  The air was heavy, and time itself seemed to suck the energy out of him.  He stared down at the sand, thinking it would be the last image he had in his mind before he died and rotted away.  He tried to keep his head up to see the figure as it came closer, but it was too much.  The sun tore away at his cracked skin, and managed to seep into Justin’s head.  He felt dizzy, and he looked up to see the figure 15 feet away, but his vision became blurry.  He started to fall over when a gentle hand caught him.

“It’s all right.”  A woman whispered in a quite voice.

Justin woke up.  The Land Rover had turned onto a side road that was covered with trees.  Then the trees stopped, and Justin looked out to see an airport. Bently pulled into the airport and then drove to a spot where a private jet was waiting.

“Bently, why does the jet have Skyline Industries printed on the tail?”  Justin asked while giving Bently a glare.  Bently stepped out of the car in silence and the girls followed.  Justin stepped out and walked out to the three.

“What is going on you three?”  Bently turned to Nicole and she walked up to Justin.

“I’m leaving, Justin.”

“What?”

“Over the past few years I’ve spent with you, you have changed.  You’re not the same cute guy that was my boyfriend in high school.  You’re different now.” Nicole said, only meeting eye to eye with Justin for a few seconds.

“After all that has happened?  We didn’t see each other for 5 years, and then when we met again, we just clicked.”

“I know, but something has happened between us the past few years.”

“Why?”

“Goodbye Justin.  Thank you,” Nicole kissed him lightly on his lips and then faced Bently “Thank you Bently, for arranging all of this.”  Nicole leaned up to him and gave him a kiss on the lips.

“You’re friends will get to the vacation house in three days.”  Bently tossed her the keys.  Nicole smiled and then walked into the airplane.  Lindsie kissed Bently, whispered something in his ear, and the followed Nicole.  They watched the airplane taxi and then take off rocketing into the sky.  Justin turned to Bently, who was still watching the plane.

“How long have you known that she was going to do this?”  Bently turned to him.

“Two months.”

“Two months!”

“Listen, while we were in high school, before you and her starting dating, I took her out on a couple of dates.”

“What do you mean a couple?”

“Six or seven times.” Justin gave him a dirty look.  Bently continued, “Hey, I explained to her that I wasn’t interested in her, and that I just wanted to see who my friend wanted to date.  She smiled when I told her, and we have been good friends ever since.  You took her out on the dates yourself, and she eventually fell in love with you, I had no part in that.”

“Yeah, like I can believe you now….  What about Lindsie?”

“She is going for the first two weeks, we both agreed it would be good for Nicole and us.”

“Do you know why Nicole is leaving me?”

“Look the woman told me.  But personally, I think Nicole doesn’t have a clue why she is leaving you.  I still live by my dad’s quote: “Men will never understand women, because women will never understand themselves.”  By the way, do you have your pilot’s license with you?”

“Yeah, why?”  Justin questioned, still glaring at him.

“Because a Cessna 172 waiting for us.”  Bently said with a smile as he began to walk towards a long row of airplanes.  He then tossed some keys to Shawn, who was standing by the Land Rover.

“What are these sir?”

“Keys to the Land Rover and the Porsche, we will see you in a week off the coast of New Zealand.”

“Yes, sir.”  Shawn smiled and then stepped into the Land Rover.

“Why did she leave?  Tell me?!”

“No, you’ll figure it out someday.”

“Tell me!!!”  Justin yelled as they walked towards a Cessna 172 in the morning sun.

Three weeks later, somewhere off the coast of New Zealand.

“Why won’t you tell me?” Justin asked with a lemonade I his hand.  They were sitting on a beach in lawn chairs.  Bently looked at Justin with an annoyed glare.  As they were heaving a staring face off, Shawn walked up with a phone.

“It’s for you sir.”

“Just put it on speakerphone…  This is Anderson speaking.”

“Five hundred million dollars will be deposited in the bank account number 01293682042 by the end of next week or your company will be dissolved.”  A deep scrambled voice said.

“I assume you know who you are dealing with and what you’re up against.”

“Five hundred million.  By the end of next week.  Oh, and if you ever want to see Nicole Morgan and your Lindsie alive, I would recommend paying.” Click.

“Tracked the number yet Shawn?”

“Don’t need to, it’s your vacation home’s number.” Justin looked at Bently.

“Shawn, get a hold of our contacts at the FBI and MI6.  Set up appointments with the Yakuza, the Cartels, and the NDS of Afghanistan….  And last, get me an appointment with the Russkaya Mafiya, I want to talk to Victor Bout directly.  We have some favors that need to be paid back.”  Bently turned to Justin. “Justin relax, this is the fourth terrorist I have had to deal with, and the last one didn’t last three days….  Oh, and Shawn?”

“Yes, sir?”

“Prepare my private jet for a one way passage to New York, for Justin and me.  We have some business to attend to.”
