Water deep green

Dock slightly rocking

My sister laughing

Playing with the big kids

Big fish

Glints silver

Catches my eye

So close

I want it

Want to catch it

Reach down

Grab it

Scared

Darkness

Green above

Hands paddling, feet kicking

Choking

Can’t breathe

Sinking

Hand high, reaching

Lifted

Light

Safe

Dad’s arms
